Advantages of Coriolis mass flow meters
2022-12-221. Horizontal installation. When conditions permit, the mass flowmeter should be installed horizontally to ensure its regular operation.
2. Leave enough straight pipe sections before and after. The flow state of the fluid in the pipeline is relatively complicated, and the mass flowmeters in different flow states have other working states, which affect their measurement accuracy.
Leaving straight pipe sections before and after can ensure that the fluid is in a laminar flow state, which is closer to the factory calibration environment, thus having higher measurement accuracy.
3. Keep away from vibration sources. The working principle of the mass flowmeter relies on the vibration of the vibrating tube to achieve flow measurement. If there are external vibration sources, they will interfere with each other.
This will affect the measurement accuracy of the product, and even cause the instrument to stop vibrating. If the site is unavoidable and the distance is too close, an expansion joint must be installed between the instrument and the vibration source to reduce the impact of external vibration on the instrument.
4. The installation position of flow meter should be installed at the lowest point of the pipeline as much as possible. The flow meter must be filled with liquid when in use. Installing it at the lowest point can ensure that the pipeline is always filled with liquid. The meter is used in the environment of intermittent feeding.
It can avoid the cavitation of the pipeline when starting and stopping the feeding, which will cause measurement errors.
5. There should be no supports under the sensor box. Many users install the mass flowmeter, in order to facilitate the support under the box, they will not remove the support after the installation is completed, which will affect the measurement accuracy.
Because the support will affect the vibration of the sensor, thereby affecting the measurement accuracy.
6. The transmitter should be installed in a ventilated and dry place. Avoid piling up debris on the transmitter and avoid direct sunlight, which will affect the service life of the instrument.
7. The connecting cable between the transmitter and the sensor must use the special cable with a shielding layer provided by the manufacturer, and one end of the shielding wire must be grounded to ensure that all points on the shielding wire are in an equipotential state, and the sensor shell and the transmitter The case should be firmly grounded.
The above is some experience in the on-site installation of on-site mass flowmeters. If the installation and debugging are carried out according to the above requirements, the meters will generally have a good measurement effect.
