Elevate Your Hydraulic Systems with Our Precision-Built Differential Pressure Transmitter
2025-03-18In industrial scenarios such as chemical, energy, and mining, flow measurement equipment needs to face extreme challenges such as dust, corrosion, and vibration. With its unique working principle and structural design, the vortex flowmeter has become the preferred solution for many engineers to deal with complex working conditions.
No fear of wear and pollution
The fully enclosed sensor structure is adopted, and there are no moving parts inside the vortex flowmeter. The probe surface is treated with tungsten carbide coating, which can withstand the impact of solid particles with a diameter of less than 5mm in the medium. In the actual measurement of coal mine slurry pipelines, the equipment has been running continuously for 8,000 hours in coal slurry with a solid content of 25%, and the measurement error remains within ±1.5%.
True maintenance-free design
Unlike traditional turbine or gear flowmeters, this device completely eliminates the risk of mechanical failures such as bearing wear and seal aging. The vortex flowmeter installed on the sulfuric acid pipeline of a chemical plant has not been disassembled and maintained since it was put into use in 2018, and only remote calibration is completed through the HART protocol.
Intrinsically safe explosion-proof
The flameproof enclosure with dual ATEX and IECEx certification can completely isolate the internal circuit from the hazardous environment. The application case of the natural gas distribution station shows that the equipment has been operating stably in the explosive environment of Zone 1 for more than 6 years, with a protection level of IP68 and can work normally in the temperature range of -40℃ to 150℃.
Ultra-long service verification
The core sensor element adopts single crystal silicon piezoresistive technology, combined with laser welding technology, and the mean time between failures (MTBF) exceeds 150,000 hours. Records from a hydrological monitoring station on a tributary of the Yangtze River show that its underwater vortex flowmeter has been working continuously in sandy water for 11 years, and the range ratio still maintains a performance level of 10:1.
From high-temperature oil products in refineries to abrasive slurries in mines, from salt spray environments to extremely cold working conditions, vortex flowmeters have verified their environmental adaptability with actual performance. This equipment that converts reliability into productivity is redefining the value standard of industrial flow measurement-in harsh environments, stability is the highest level of intelligence.
